LASIK Healing Time

One of the great advantages of LASIK eye surgery is the quick healing time. Once the procedure is complete, you will typically notice an immediate improvement in vision.  This changes within an hour or so, as your eye begins to heal and your vision becomes blurry.

Although you should have little to no immediate discomfort, as time goes on you may notice some itchiness or scratchiness, as your eye heals.  Your doctor can prescribe eye drops to help with this and to reduce dryness, since your eyes may feel dry for a few days or a few weeks.  Although every procedure has risks, most patients report a high level of satisfaction with their LASIK procedure.
