Christian White, OD
Christian White, OD, grew up in Provo, Utah. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and a Bachelor of Arts in French Studies from Brigham Young University (BYU). While at BYU, he served as a student instructor of French, helping university students carry out basic functions and improve their language skills. He remains fluent in French today.
With his undergraduate education complete, Dr. White then attended the University of Houston where he pursued his Doctor of Optometry degree. His externships were done at Cedar Springs Eye Clinic in Dallas, TX, and Sharp Eye Consultants in San Antonio, TX. These externships provided concentrated experience in underserved communities and the geriatric population. To round out his education, he served his residency at Michael E. Debakey VA Medical Center, focusing on primary care with an emphasis on ocular disease.
As an optometrist at Victoria Eye Center, Dr. White specializes in the management of diabetic eye disease, macular degeneration, glaucoma, and surgical co-management.
Outside of working hours, Dr. White enjoys fishing, playing sports, and spending time with his wife, Kelly.
